Our vision started already with the conversion to guest accommodation. We already wanted to make our mark here by retaining the farm's unique environment and original charm, not least in terms of preserving the appearance of the unique buildings on the outside and inside.

An example is the impressive gray stone stable that has existed since construction in 1917. Here we took back the original door and window arches and installed old-fashioned wooden doors with glass and contemporary windows, albeit newly made in aluminum. The wooden beams that span the entire old stable building have been descaled but retained. Bricks that were in the stable floor have been plastered and reused in the walls and in the apartments' kitchens. The successful renovation was awarded an honorary prize in the magazine Lantbruket Affärer's building competition 2007.

The outdoor and indoor environment on the farm is constantly changing and will never end. Our focus today on our guests being satisfied with our quality accommodation and solid local environment must also be complemented with a goal-oriented sustainability perspective for the future.

Honors prize 2007

Excerpt from Agricultural Business no. 11 2007

Engaged entrepreneurs When this year the jury decided to appoint a winner of the scholarship, three completely different activities and buildings were assessed. A riding facility, a family farm which is converted into a tourist facility and a farm environment with loose stables and newly built dryer and magazine. The jury's work was not easy ...
- All three nominated farms are run by people with great commitment and I am struck by how similar these entrepreneurs are. They want to create something lasting and that the houses they build should be beautiful and appropriate, ”says Roland Fransson, Editor of Agriculture's Business. And one more thing, they are very careful about the details, that little last thing that makes the difference! The three farms nominated in 2007 were:

Carl-Erik Ehrenkrona, Hulterstad Estate
Jan Brink, Tullstorps Farm, Hässleholm
Lars Norrman & Åse Roos, Lyckås Farm, Höganäs
